I have just purchased the Graduate Pro theme to update my school’s website. However, I don’t want to activate the theme until I find out how to change the image just under the menu (not the header image, but a stock photo of a random university building that keeps coming up on each page I open in the ‘customise live preview’).
If someone could screenshot the process I have to undertake to change the photo that’d be great.
I am looking forward to hearing from someone who can fix this issue for me, so that I can move forward with the website development as soon as possible.

First of all, thank you very much for using the pro version of the theme.
The sections that you refer to is the slider section. To enable the slider section just go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Sections > Featured Slider and chose the option in the content types.

You can set the slider using the page, post and category. If you chose the page then the image, content comes from the individual page edit screen. Similarly if you chose post, category then the image, content comes from the post edit screen.
Hope this clears the confusion.
If you have any queries further kindly let us know.
Thank you.
Best Regards!!

My query is referring to the other pages on my website that have a static photo at the top of the page (where the featured slider would go) that still shows the stock photo of a university building. For example, I could change the featured slider on the homepage, but when I navigate the website to another page, a stock photo comes up and is pinned to the top of that page, just below the menu.
March 10, 2019 at 11:18 pm #92824wensolutionsKeymasterHello @golden-grove-school
Actually the slider feature is available only for the homepage section and for the inner page sections, the image remains static. The image of the inner page comes from the featured image section of the individual post/pages. If you want to change the static images, please go to , Admin Panel > pages/post and change the featured image.
However, regarding the slider issue, integrating the slider in the inner pages requires higher level of code customization and hence you need to hire a professional developer. To hire a developer, please refer to the given link : https://themepalace.com/hire-a-customizer/
Hope to hear from you again,

Here is a preview of the page when I have tried to change the featured image. As you can see, it still shows the stock image of a university building.
Please advise me on how to change this and move forward.
Thanks
March 22, 2019 at 12:49 am #93505wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Actually, the back end option provide you multiple choices regarding the settings for the header image which overrides the option provided by the theme customizer.
Screenshot : https://prnt.sc/n1a21k
In your case, to change the header image of the inner pages, please go to the respective page and in header image meta option, select Show Both (Featured and Header Image) and update. This should enable the functionality to fetch the featured image as the header image for the pages that you have made changes in.
Hope this helps,
Feel free to write us back for any further query/confusion,
Best Regards!!
