To increase the width of the sidebar please use below given CSS.

For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.

.home #primary,
.home #sidebar-primary,
.home #sidebar-secondary {
	padding: 0 2.5px;
}

Also, the image will appear small due to the layout you have chosen. Upon increasing the size of the image, the sidebar will fall down.
