I just wanted to point out that, while Photomania now does come with a .pot file…
…there is at least one string missing!

It’s the string «Search…» (or «Search …»), that appears as a placeholder inside the search form.

In order to translate this, I have to rely on a plugin. And this is the only job this plugin has: translating 1 string!

I see the Photomania theme is still being updated; could you please include this string in the next update of the theme’s .pot file?

However, like I pointed out before, the behavior can be seen on the demo of the theme found in this very website. On the homepage slider, just between the phrase “Over 74,000 + free stock photos” and the search form.

Actually, the theme is designed in such way and to make the caption appear in the popup photos requires higher code customization.

I´ve noticed that this theme loads the amazing Magnific Popup lightbox by D. Semenov when I click on a picture in the homepage gallery, which is great. However, below each blown-up photo only the counter is visible. I’m trying to have also the photo’s caption there.
If I inspect a photo while it is in lightbox mode, I can see that the markup exists, i.e. there’s a <figcaption> tag, and a class for mfp-title. However, even though my photos have titles and captions, they don’t seem to make it to the lightbox.

This behavior can be seen on the Photomania Pro demo uploaded to this site.

Any help, please?

To make the site title appear below the menu please add below given CSS by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

Now the slider in the theme can be set using the page, post, category, image and tags. If you chose the image then you have to add the custom text from the customizer it self. but if you chose to use the page and post and category, you have to go to the individual post edit screen and change the text as per your requirement.

On my test site: https://jacquey.advancedmediawebs.com/ I am displaying the site-title and site site-description. Because of menu and site-identity cod block positioning in the theme, I have changed the css of site-identity to position:absolute so that the menu is not pushed down and is at the top of the page where I want it.

1) Where can I edit the home page theme compiler to change the header components?

Is there a better way to do this, what module / file do I edit to move the inclusion of the site-identity to be physically below the menu?

Also, I would like to use real text on my home page slider images to replace the image of text. The test site Slider is set to Home Page only & Featured Pages.

2) Should I use the demo pages with my own images and were do I find these?
3) Whats the best method to accomplish this?

Some time ago I posted this on the WordPress.org support forum for the theme, but received no response (so I guess this is the proper place to ask).

In the Customizer, one of the options for the Featured Slider prompts me to provide a custom “Read More” text.
However, even though I enter a short text there and save the options, the text does not show anywhere on the slider.
On a closer look, I’ve noticed that on each slide, just below the caption text, there’s a small area that is a clickable link, though there’s no visible indication that the link is there (it can be found because the pointer changes to a hand on rollover).
It seems to me that the “Read More” custom text should appear there.

I was about to upload some screen captures, but I’ve found that the “invisible link” is also present in your online demo of the theme, so it appears that the phenomenon isn’t unique to my WP installation.

Could you please shed some light on this mystery?
