I just noticed that the menu bar on mobile devices doesn’t work anymore. Clicking on the menu bar, only the link is changed to http://www.domain.net/#mob-menu but the menu wouldn’t open. Using the mobile menu/view, one is stuck with the first page and there’s no way to navigate through the website unless one chooses the desktop view in the browser.
I tried it on several devices (tablets and mobile phones) as well as with Chrome and Opera. No matter where, the menu wouldn’t open. I tried to re-arrange the menu items, hoping that a new save would resolve the issue. But to no success.
I haven’t made any adjustments to the theme therefore I don’t really know what causes this problem. About a month ago, everything still worked fine.
August 24, 2020 at 1:48 am #132088wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Regarding your query, actually the menu you open is the page so there mustn’t be an issue as everything is working fine on our side.
Please make sure you provide us with the screenshots so that we can be clear and help us to inspect.
Also, fix your site as we are unable to open it. https://prnt.sc/u4ravs
Hoping for your kind co-operation.
Regards.

My appologies for the link, it was only an example. The affected site is nicoles-website.net.
August 24, 2020 at 7:44 am #132102wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Actually, the issue might have raised due to third party plugin conflict so please once deactivate the plugins one by one and verify that the menu is working in mobile devices or not.
Hope this will help.
Regards.

I try not to use too many plugins in order to avoid conflicts. That is also the reason why I hardly make any changes to the website design but add blog entries only. Until a couple of weeks ago, everything worked perfect. And as I mentioned before, the only recent “major” change was WP itself.
August 24, 2020 at 11:39 pm #132178wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Please go through the below screenshots,
https://prnt.sc/u5bh4d – Mobile menu working fine with:
WordPress 5.5- https://prnt.sc/u5bi2u
Also, please list your activated plugins as the plugins conflict is very likely to occur as you are using other plugins too when we inspected.
Regards.
August 25, 2020 at 6:01 am #132195NikiParticipantI did deactivate all plugins once again today and turned them back on one by one. WP Lightbox 2 seems to cause the problem. I must have overlooked this one while checking the plugins previously. This plugin has been activated since I set the site up in WP, it never caused any troubles.
My apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your time.
August 25, 2020 at 6:29 am #132196wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Glad you found the plugin that caused the issue since it is incompatible with the theme.
If you have any queries, let us know.
Regards.
